We recently went to the lake with some friends.....Dave, Kathi, Andrea, Rachael, and "some" of our kids.
I have a huge fear of "lake" water...I am trying to overcome this with a little help from my friends....so here I am on this float in the middle of NOWHERE! Water is all around me....Andrea and I are just cruising very slow (thank you Andrea for going "grandma" speed).....life is good. Hey....this is not so bad...lets speed up a little....ok still good....thumbs up to go faster.....now I'm gonna blow their minds...I get on my knees (are you kidding me? have I lost my ever loving mind?!)....now Andrea gets on her knees.....we were too close to the front of the float and we start to nose-dive...all of a sudden we are gracefully sliding off the float into the water!!!OMGosh......I just knew that "something" was going to get me as I dangled in the water.....and I was right! Just as I hit the water, my very sweet husband dove in (without a life jacket...dummy) to rescue me. He knows my fear of water and he was worried...I love him....now on the other side of the float, also dangling in the water was Andrea,who was laughing hysterically......anyway..I survived, climbed back on the float and was ready to go again.
NOW......the wild ones (Kathi, Andrea, & Rachael) feel the need for speed...so they rode the waves and bounced around like rag dolls. I had so much fun just watching them!

I am still so proud of you for getting on the float! You have to admit, the fall was hysterical! Maybe one day we will get you to be as wild as we are!

For those of you out there in the blog world, go visit my blog page. There you will see the very pictures depicting the "fall" that she was describing. We were all amazed at Lynn's bravery in taking on the water without fear. Dave was a bit suprised that Lynn was much more brave with Andrea than with him. I told him it's nothing personal. Lynn has seen Dave's high speed antics on the water. It'd make me a little nervous to ride with him too. Next time Lynn, we'll get you up to 7 MPH! It's always a blast with you and your family. We love you!!
